Share the Road Cycling Coalition is now accepting applications for their Bicycle Friendly Communities Program. Niagara has 5 municipalities that are recognized with this designation and 1 honourable mention:
1) Pelham – Silver
2) Grimsby – Bronze
3) St. Catharines – Bronze
4) Thorold – Bronze
5) Welland – Bronze
6) Niagara Falls – Honourable Mention
Deadline for applications is Monday February 29th, 2016 and awards will be announced during the 8th Annual Ontario Bike Summit on April 19th and 20th, 2016 in downtown Toronto.
