Cycling is being reported on the rise in our neighboring province of Quebec. Vélo Québec, a non-profit organization playing an important role in bicycle advocacy, tourism and an active mode of transportation in Quebec, unveiled the results of a five-year study.
The study’s findings revealed that cycling is not only good for the environment and health but also for the economy. The report shows that biking and cycling tourism is bringing in $1.2 billion every year and close to $150 million going to the provincial government.
